Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are fundamental principles rooted in ALL the work that is undertaken by Blazing Cloud Consulting. This includes providing culturally and linguistically responsive services to ensure justice is embedded in the fabric of our work.
The intention is to adopt, facilitate and promote equitable outcomes internally and with the community partners we engage. Blazing Cloud Consulting is led by award-winning CEO and Founder, Stephanie Salazar-Rodriguez, a training and technical assistance and public health professional.

Mission
To reduce social and economic barriers that contribute to inequities by providing harm reduction services, customized training, capacity building, non-clinical recovery support, and authentic community engagement that address the needs of under-resourced and historically overlooked communities.

Introducing our Latinas en Acción September Spotlight: Stephanie Salazar-Rodriguez
As CEO and Lead Trainer of Blazing Cloud Consulting, Stephanie is a powerhouse advocate for health equity and social justice across Colorado. A second-generation Denverite of Native American (Taos Pueblo) and Latina heritage, she brings over 25 years of experience working in high-need and under-resourced communities, breaking down barriers that prevent our communities from thriving.
Currently partnering with the Colorado Health Foundation, Stephanie leads culturally responsive programs providing non-clinical recovery services, overdose education and prevention, and community healing events specifically designed for Native American/Indigenous and Latine populations along the Front Range. Grounded in justice and equity principles, Stephanie ensures diverse voices drive her work. She actively collaborates with organizations such as Promotores de Esperanza, the Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger, and Latina SafeHouse, while sharing her expertise and inspiring the next generation of community leaders.
Stephanie has been a cornerstone supporter of Adelante Mujer’s mission, generously sponsoring our signature Butterfly Brunch fundraiser. Her investment in our work demonstrates her deep commitment to uplifting Latina scholars and creating pathways for the next generation of leaders in our community.

Community Healing Event Highlights
Our recent Community Healing Event on April 12th, 2025, was a resounding success! Neighbors connected and uplifted each other with free haircuts, dental cleanings, and more. Local vendors added to the vibrant atmosphere, creating a truly special day of connection and care. Stay tuned for future events that bring our community together!
Here is a little video I made at a beautiful community healing event put on by Stephanie SSR, the owner of Blazing Cloud Consulting LLC, and Rica Muneca Rodríguez, Executive Director of Promotores De Esperanza. This event was everything we need in community right now and always. It was joyful, healing, intergenerational, intersectional, creative. And that is thanks to it being put together by a beloved elder indigenous leader with decades of expertise and trust, and her team and collaborators who have learned so much from her.
You can’t just bring a bunch of organizations to a spot and expect community to show up and access resources. The magic is in the women who wove us all together and the folks who felt safe enough to show up and be vulnerable and open to the resources.

For us to be able to get together collectively, help each other, and know that you are not out there alone because a lot of people are really struggling right now. So, we just want to make sure that we the community knows we are here for you. Look at the the turnout today. We had an amazing turnout.
